Let It Snow!

Today it is snowing in Houston. Everyone is excited and the nursing staff keeps coming into the patient rooms to look outside at the snow falling. They get snow about every ten years here. I’m glad to be inside looking out. I feel really rotten today with all the aches in my joints. It is hard to believe that this is my worst day as far as feeling bad. When the doctor came in I told him I could hardly move my arms. He said it was the bone marrow growing back. Well that is good news as my last bone marrow aspiration on Monday this week came back empty. I think I’m going to take a pain killer. They usually knock me out – so for now it’s over and out!

    I can't tell you how wonderful it is to see a picture of you. You look GREAT for all that you have gone through. Thank God for your pain if this is truly an indication of bone marrow growth.     Dearest June;
    I guess I'm in shock! Don't know what to say. This is the first news I've gotten about you even being sick. Please know that Dottie and I will keep you in our prayers. Thank you and the kids for giving us a way to follow your progress. I will forward this info to Dick and I'm sure you will hear from him too.     So good to see you are fighting the good fight. Your exceptional determination and relentless can do attitude will serve you well during this time.     We are praying for your healing and strength. I am asking our church to pray for you, also. Since we live so close to your home can we do anything for you there? I am grateful that Pam Collins sent me the link to your blog. You sure picked a big adventure for a person who never gets sick. But then you always take things head on...so AML has met its match.
